When a customer uses the AKL Customer Document Portal, AKL may receive shipment references, company/contact information, notes and uploaded operational documents. Documents are intended to be stored privately and used only to provide the requested logistics, administrative or operational support. If AI-assisted classification is enabled, document content may be processed by an AI service solely to categorize or summarize the document for AKL's workflow. Customers should not upload payment-card data, passwords, SIN/SSN information, health information or unrelated sensitive personal information.
